University deserves praise for tuition freeze

After a semester when the Tropolitan has been perceived as beating up on the university', it's nice to be able to end the year on a positve note with a word of praise for the administration. Fo the first time in many years, Troy University is not raising tuition for the 2006-07 academic year. full story

Letter to the Editor: What can you do for brown?

I'm angry and for a good reason. Throughout the past weeks, protests have sprung up all over the county in response to talk of Congressional immigration reform. The protestors are calling for rights and amnesty for illegal immigrants and, in doing so, are asking our government to reward those who break American law. There used to be a point in time when the American people would have told these crybabies how stupid they really were and thrown them out on their faces. full story
