University Activities Council (UAC)

The UAC will play host to a Beach Bash April 23 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Rec Center Pool. Anyone is welcome.

Campus Awakening

Campus Awakening will play host to 'The Encounter' Night of Worship in the Trojan Center Amphitheater April 23 at 7 p.m. If you would like more information, please contact Campus Awakening President Bryan Segraves at bsegraves@troy.edu.

African Alliance Club

The African Alliance Club will meet April 23 at 8 p.m. in Trojan Center Room 119. All African students or any students interested in experiencing African culture are welcome to attend.

Computer Science Club

The Troy University Computer Science Club will play host to an area-wide Halo 3 tournament this Friday, April 24, at 6:30 p.m. in Trojan Center Ballroom B. Teams of four are preferred, although individuals can be placed as well. If you haven't signed up for the tournament yet and would like to participate, or if you require any further information, please contact Chase Rushing at drushing11428@troy.edu. The deadline for the preferred team rate has been extended until Thursday, April 23 at 5 p.m.

Malone Gallery Exhibit

'1,000 lbs. of Alabama Clay,' an exhibition displaying works created from Alabama clay, will be at Malone Gallery until April 24. All are invited to see the diverse works of Alabama clay artists.

National Marrow Donor Program

Representatives from the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) will be on campus this Friday and Saturday to answer any questions about marrow donation and to add those who wish to the national registry. Alpha Phi Alpha

The Xi Beta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. invites all students to the Amphitheater on Friday, April 24. Alpha Phi Alpha will be presenting their new members.

Chi Omega Hawkins Bowl

The sisters of Chi Omega will play host to the Hawkins Bowl flag football tournament on Saturday, April 25 from 12:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on the upper intramural field. Entry fees are $30 per team. All proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Environmental Club

Earth Day Awareness activities, hosted by the Troy University Environmental Club, will take place on Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in room 112 and 114 Math and Science Complex (follow the signs) on the Troy campus. Activities and presentations are free for all ages and members of the community. Individuals must purchase own lunch ($6.25). A tie-dye booth is available, but individuals must bring their own white cloth items (shirts, socks, pillow cases, etc.).

Step For Life

The Eighth Annual 'Step for Life' step show in memory of Steven Dobarzynski, put on by Kappa Kappa Psi fraternity and Tau Beta Sigma sorority, will be held on April 25 at 6 p.m. in the Claudia Crosby Theater. This event raises funds and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Tickets and T-shirts are available in the Adams Center and will be sold at the door. 'Give 2 the Troops' Organization

The 'Give 2 the Troops' Organization is gathering nonperishable items along with other goods to send to troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. Patriotic boxes have been distributed around campus with a list of things needed. If you would like more information, please contact jmcginty@troy.edu.

Now Generation Alliance Fellowship Campus Ministry

The Now Generation Alliance Fellowship Campus Ministry will play host to the 'Out of da Box Experience' every Thursday from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. in Sorrell Chapel. All are welcome to attend. For more information, contact Jay Holcomb at jholcomb60173@troy.edu.

E.L.E.C.T. Women's Bible Study

The E.L.E.C.T. women's Bible study will meet Thursdays from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Trojan Center Room 224. The study for the semester is called 'Preparing for Your Man of God.' All women are invited to attend.
